Swift Fuels announced today that it has suspended its work activities in the Phase-II Piston Alternative Fuels Initiative (PAFI). The company has transitioned to a high-octane unleaded avgas replacement which is not part of the current PAFI program. Instead the company is working privately with FAA and OEM’s utilizing an alternative pathway for FAA certification status which is already in progress.
South St Paul Municipal Airport-Richard E. Fleming Field announced that it has finalized details with Swift Fuels, LLC, a global leader in the development of high-performance unleaded aviation gasoline, and has begun selling Swift’s unleaded UL94 aviation gasoline for its piston aircraft customers.

This announcement marks yet another milestone for Swift Fuels, with Rochelle Airport being the first airport in Illinois to join the campaign.
Dublin Municipal Airport (9F0) is now selling unleaded UL94 aviation gas for piston aircraft in collaboration with Swift Fuels. Dublin is the first airport in Texas to begin the nationwide transition to sell unleaded aviation gasoline.
Swift Fuels is the only company selling unleaded avgas in the United States and has expanded its distribution network across the country. Swift is available at airports from California to Maryland and Michigan to Florida.
